Day 14 - Oaktree Hill to Ingleby Arncliffe, 12 km, 3 hours
Another fine day and a short walk. After a delicious breakfast of home bacon and sausages at Lovesome Hill Farm, we hit the road. We made our way down the hill beside a busy road, then retreated to the peace of a bridal path. We had a vey pleasant, if not muddy walk along a trail between hedgerows. We then traversed a number of farms. Unfortunately these were usually very boggy. It was wonderful to walk close to all the different farm houses. We could really see what they were up to. Some of the yards were awash with mud and manure, others perfectly manicured. Mostly we were welcomed by a dog.
